Gilberto Martins joined the Economic Group Jerónimo Martins, in July 1991, in the investee company - Recheio Cash & Carry, SA, where he held several managerial positions until 1999, passing by the Department of Accounting and Financial Management as the Financial
Deputy Director. In 2000 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Controller / JM
of the Vidago Melgaço & Pedras Salgadas SA, a position he held until 2002.
Currently , in the area of the JM Group business dedicated to the Services , he helds functions in the Executive Committee in the Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Customer Service ( CAS) areas and Logistics Department Expansion of new business.
In March 2012 he was also named CFO of the Health business area Walk-inClinic’s.
At an Academic level, Gilberto has a BS in Accounting and Business Administration and a Bachelor in Financial Control, both from ISCAL and completed an Executive MBA in ISCTE / INDEG, in 2004/2005 and has the 7th cycle Master Degree in EMBA Management.

Rita Cardoso leads JMD’s Marketing team and is responsible for managing all principals and for the promotion of their business development in Portugal that includes opportunities identification/creation, strategy definition and plan implementation, aiming to deliver a service of excellency.
Prior to joining JMD in February 2016, Rita managed the Health & Wellness business and the Bookstore and Stationary businesses at Pingo Doce, being responsible for the concept definition, the brand strategy and the business plan. Also at Pingo Doce, Rita had Commercial roles, such as Category Manager in Food, Personal Care, Detergents and Household Care, as well as roles in Store Operations, as District manager. Within Jerónimo Martins Group, Rita has worked a few years in the Corporate Communication Department, also as Media Relations. Before that she was private label manager for the retail business. Rita’s career in the JM Group started as management trainee, back in 1999. Rita has a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Marketing, both from Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics. She has also attended the Strategic Management Program at Kellogg School of Management, USA.

Madalena Pestana is JMD’s Human Resources Manager, being in charge of human resources strategies development and implementation, as well as supporting JMD’s employees in all people management aspects. Prior to joining JMD, Madalena experience was in Advertising, in the Strategic Planning area. Working in JMD since 2005, she worked in the Marketing Department, in the Cosmetic Division and New Business area. In terms of education, Madalena has a MA in Marketing Communications from Westminster University (London) and a degree in Marketing from IADE.
Roque Cunha Ferreira leads the export department and works towards the development of the company's international markets. Roque started his career in the production area and evolved to working and managing foreign markets, and has more than 10 years experience in brand development and international sales. He holds an MBA from The Lisbon MBA of the Católica and Nova universities and has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade de Évora.

Ana Isabel Neves is responsible for the areas of Demand Planning, Logistics and Customer Service, which she accumulates with the financial control of JMD and with the coordination of all the processes inherent to the ISO 9001/2008 certification. Ana joined JMD in 2008, having come from Unilever Jerónimo Martins, where she developed her career in the financial area, namely as financial analyst, internal auditor and controller. In terms of education, Ana has a degree in Business Administration from Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics.
